Hey look. Apple made an even thinner laptop. Called simply the MacBook (no “Air” or “Pro” modifiers, though its size makes you wonder why they didn’t call this the “Air” and rename the “Air” to the simple MacBook, since the “Air” is now bigger, heavier, and more functional than the MacBook…..)
It has a Core M processor and no fan, has a fancy new trackpad, a redesigned keyboard, a high resolution screen, and a dearth of ports (as in, there’s just one: a USB Type-C; not even an SD slot…). It’s neat, I guess. Not terribly priced (as far as these things go) at $1300. I’ve no interest in it, but it’ll probably sell like gangbusters.
