Normally, stories about Houston’s “massage” parlors (and I’m not talking Massage Envy, here) involve undercover police officers posing as civilians in sting operations. So this is an interesting “man bites dog” sort of story (from the Houston Chronicle):
A man who was disappointed with the service he got — or didn’t get — at a southwest Houston massage parlor tried to take revenge by posing as a cop, police said today.
As luck would have it, apparently some undercover officers were in the area, and after some amount of kerfluffle, the man was arrested and charged with robbery and impersonating a police officer. Texas Penal Code § 37.12 covers the crime of impersonating a peace officer, and it is a Class B misdemeanor.
